I love working with a wide range of people from teenagers to seniors. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families. I have over fifteen years of experience working with teenagers, and over the last nine years have worked closely with adults, families and couples. I love seeing people have renewed hope and vitality in their lives.
My training is rooted in family systems therapy. My approach incorporates learning mindfulness and self compassion to ease suffering and increase happiness. Mindfulness involves noticing the present moment without judgment. I also teach Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help clients utilize mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness.
I incorporate intuitive approaches as well as evidence based approaches. I like to work collaboratively with clients to ease suffering. I tend to be highly empathetic and intuitive as well as pragmatic. I want to share tools as well as offer an open heart.
